Within a large French banking group, the legal department was facing challenges related to the consistency, distribution, and security of its legal documentation. Manual management of the template library led to disparities between entities, complex updates, and a lack of control over certain documents distributed across the group.
To meet these challenges, a dedicated unit within the legal department has structured an approach around Osidoc, with the objective of unifying, automating and securing legal document models.
The Osidoc intervention
Osidoc has been deployed for:
Automate the legal library : existing models were integrated into Osidoc in order to standardize production and guarantee compliance across the entire scope.
Distribute models across all entities : thanks to Osidoc, legal documents are now accessible and updated centrally, with controlled distribution.
Structuring internal expertise : a specific unit within the legal department was trained in Osidoc Designer, becoming autonomous in the configuration and maintenance of the library.
This project also allowed the legal department to regain control over certain models that had previously been managed in a decentralized manner, by integrating them into the Osidoc library. This refocusing has strengthened the consistency of documentary practices within the group.
